i have been at this school for the last 17 months and it is awfuller the staff constantly lie about me and when pulled up on it the expect me to stay quiet i am finished in 2 day can not wait all of the good staff are leaving

Awful school, don't send your kids here. The school was never great to begin with but ever since it went into an academy, it became worse and the teaching isn't great. Most of the teachers who have been there for years left because they knew it was also failing. Most people I know are happy to leave and I myself will not miss this school either, glad to be gone.

I had made lots of friends during my time at this school and the other pupils were great some of the best years of my life how ever one thing I did not enjoy and i remember it to this day in year 7 when a humanities teacher who name i will not name bullied me by ripping up my work because it wasn't "neat" enough funny he'd do that for to someone that struggles with writing and since he got to the school was registered for sen because he struggles at English his hand writing being one of the main reasons for this. The teacher would then make me stay in throughout the day missing either break or lunch just because my hand writing wasn't up to his standards. In the following 4 years i spoke to other students some of which were in a GCSE geography class with me and they seemed to share the same views of past or current experiences of him targeting students. The scary thing about this school isn't that there was a teacher that taught a student how to hack or that a teacher threatened a student its that stuff like this seems to be getting more common as time goes on. i would like to add though that all the teacher mentioned but the "bully" have been removed in the past 5 years. Overall tho i would recommend this school as it has been good to me over the years as i have began to know certain teachers not as my superior but as a friend ,a friend that watches my back, puts in extra time with me with work i struggle with and most of all is just a good friend i will miss the teachers like this ,there is more teachers like this that there is bad ones thankfully. even though the school does have its ups and downs i wouldn't change it for anything so THANK YOU MARTINS for the best few years of my life so far.

I like this school because I have met lots of new friends .
